The Air Training Corps is open to 13 – 20 year olds (however we can accept anyone aged 12 as long as they are in school year 8), male or female.

If you’re interested, register your interest online. Then come and visit us, so you can get a real flavour of the activities and qualifications we can offer.

The Air Training Corps is a great organisation to get involved in. There is always something going on! As a cadet you’ll have the opportunity to experience plenty of great activities.

We offer flying, gliding, adventure training and camps (both at home and overseas), competitive sports, drill and shooting. Our list of activities is long, varied and open to all cadets. Yes it’s a challenge, but that’s what life is all about.

Having been a cadet myself, I have experienced many of the opportunities that are available. It speaks for itself that so many staff members, like myself, have returned to give something back to the Corps.

The cadets of North Hykeham Squadron are always eager to achieve and try something new. It is fantastic to see these young people expanding their horizons and working towards their self development.

We actively try to support our local community at events and the cadets thoroughly enjoy this. I am very proud of all the achievements of North Hykeham Squadron and all of that we will achieve in the future.
